Behind the Power: A Project on Conscious and Intimate BDSM

I, Bernardo Brandão, founder of Crimson Kink, in partnership with Ana Vaz, pleasure and power specialist, have united our visions and practices to create the Behind the Power project. This is an ambitious and deeply personal endeavor, structured in three distinct phases, with the goal of demystifying and revealing the deepest layers of conscious, safe, and, above all, intimate BDSM practice. Our purpose is to transcend the superficiality and show the meticulous process, the responsibility, and the profound care that underpin authority and vulnerability in this context.
Phase 1: Behind the Power: The Art of Planning
The first phase of our project focuses on the foundation of any successful BDSM interaction: negotiation. This is a transparent and detailed demonstration of how Ana Vaz and I establish a consensual, comfortable, and mutually enriching play.

- Listing and Accepting Desires: We address the initial process of sharing fantasies and desires, and how they are carefully evaluated and accepted, ensuring both partners feel seen and respected.
- The Importance of Limits, Rules, and Intimacy: We exhaustively discuss the definition of clear limits (hard limits and soft limits), safety rules, and the central role that intimate communication plays in building trust.
- Pleasure and Care as Central Elements: We emphasize that mutual pleasure and care are not accessories, but the pillars upon which the entire practice rests, ensuring an ethically responsible experience.

The second phase moves from planning to action, offering a rare and privileged glimpse of what happens "behind closed doors."

- What to Expect: This was not just a demonstration, but a rare performance where Ana Vaz and Bernardo Brandão will transform the structure and pre-established agreements (negotiated in Phase 1) into action.
- Focus on Intimacy and Responsibility: The audience was be invited to witness how authority is exercised with full responsibility and how intimacy is maintained even in moments of intensity. It was a look at the fluidity and beauty of BDSM practice when informed by consciousness and mutual respect.
